Our therapy targets the four key areas most affected by Parkinson’s disease—voice, speech, swallowing, and cognition—to support every aspect of daily communication and safety. Blue Ridge Speech & Voice has clinicians who are certified in LSVT LOUD®, the gold-standard program for improving vocal strength and clarity. Along with proven voice exercises, we provide personalized strategies for clearer articulation, safer swallowing, and sharper cognitive-communication skills, all delivered through secure telehealth sessions tailored to your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Do you offer LSVT LOUD® online?
Yes. Our therapist, Erin Mack, is LSVT LOUD® certified and provides intensive voice treatment for Parkinson’s via secure telehealth. All of our therapists are experienced and skilled in the evaluation and treatment of Parkinson's Disease, but not all carry this certification.

  • Can you help with swallowing problems in Parkinson’s?
Yes. We evaluate dysphagia and provide evidence-based strategies and exercises to support safer swallowing.

  • How often are therapy sessions?
It depends on your goals and needs. Some people are seen 1x/week and others do better with 2x/week. The LSVT program is designed to be done 4x/week, but most people find that too frequent for busy schedules, so we can modify as needed.
