Singing Lessons That Support Performance and Vocal Health

Singing is both an art and a physical skill. Whether you’re performing eight shows a week, preparing for an audition, or singing simply because you love it, your voice needs strong technique, expressive freedom, and long-term sustainability to truly thrive.

At Blue Ridge Speech & Voice, our singing lessons are designed to support the whole singer. We combine performance-based training with evidence-informed vocal care to help singers build voices that are not only expressive, but reliable and resilient.

Why Singing Lessons Should Go Beyond “Sounding Good”

Many singers seek lessons to improve tone, range, or confidence—and those goals absolutely matter. But without a solid technical foundation and an understanding of vocal health, singers often encounter challenges such as:

  • Vocal fatigue or strain

  • Loss of range or vocal consistency

  • Tension in the throat, jaw, or neck

  • Difficulty sustaining demanding rehearsal or performance schedules

  • Fear of vocal injury or burnout

Our singing lessons address these concerns directly by integrating vocal technique, breath coordination, body awareness, and performance demands—not as separate goals, but as interconnected parts of healthy singing.

A Performance-Centered, Voice-Smart Approach

Singing lessons at Blue Ridge Speech & Voice are taught by experienced performers and clinically trained voice professionals who understand what it means to sing in high-pressure, real-world environments.

Our instructors work with singers to:

  • Build efficient, healthy vocal technique

  • Improve stamina for rehearsals and performances

  • Reduce unnecessary tension and strain

  • Navigate demanding show tracks safely

  • Support recovery from vocal fatigue or injury

  • Maintain vocal consistency across roles, styles, and schedules

Lessons are highly individualized, shaped around each singer’s voice, goals, and performance context.

Meet Our Singing Faculty

Our singing lessons are taught by Sareé Fioravanti and Lilli Wosk, two vocal professionals who bring deep performance experience and clinical voice training into every session.

Sareé Fioravanti, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist and professional singer and actor with off-Broadway and regional musical theater experience, including The Office. She completed her voice clinician internship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she gained advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders in high-demand voice users. Sareé regularly leads vocal hygiene, warm-up, and vocal function workshops for casts and musical directors and works closely with actors and singers to map their show tracks, build stamina, and maintain vocal safety throughout rehearsals and performances.

Lilli Wosk, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Broadway music-director-turned speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of professional performance and vocal leadership experience. She has served as music director and conductor for the Broadway national tours of HAIR and Waitress, coaching performers across national and international stages while maintaining vocal health and stylistic integrity in demanding performance environments. Lilli is the founder of Neon Transharmonic, a Las Vegas–based choir centering trans and queer voices, and has served as voice faculty at NYU, teaching undergraduate performers vocal technique, speech, and breath-work using somatic and theatrical methods.

While their professional paths are different, both instructors work with singers on the same core areas: vocal technique, performance readiness, vocal health, recovery from strain or fatigue, and expressive authenticity. The difference is not in scope—it’s simply the person you’re working with.

Singing With Confidence, Longevity, and Freedom
