Annika Wilson (she/her)

Speech-Language Pathologist

Annika Wilson is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with specialized training in voice and a strong clinical background in both adult and pediatric populations. She brings over five years of experience at the Duke Health Voice Center, where she worked as part of an interdisciplinary voice team providing assessment and treatment for a wide range of voice disorders. Annika is also an NCVS-trained vocologist, blending evidence-based voice science with a thoughtful, individualized therapeutic approach.

Annika’s clinical interests include gender-affirming voice therapy, voice disorders, and pediatric voice disorders. She is passionate about helping people develop a voice that supports their identity, daily communication needs, and long-term goals — whether that voice is used at work, at school, or in personal expression. She strives to create a space that feels affirming, collaborative, and free of pressure or judgment, allowing individuals to explore and strengthen their voice in a way that feels both authentic and sustainable.

Annika believes communication is deeply personal. A person’s voice carries identity, story, and presence, and she considers it a privilege to support people as they build confidence and comfort in a voice that feels reliable and true to themselves. Her therapy style is practical, supportive, and tailored to real-life communication demands.
