Speech-Language Pathologist
Bashi Zinnershine is a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist specializing in gender-affirming voice therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and neurologically-based speech and swallowing disorders. Their clinical background includes extensive experience treating individuals with Parkinson’s disease, stroke-related communication challenges, dysphagia, and voice disorders.
Bashi is certified in gender-affirming voice therapy and is passionate about creating a collaborative, affirming space where clients can explore and develop voices that reflect their authentic selves. Whether working on vocal identity or supporting recovery after neurological injury, Bashi brings a warm, individualized approach to every session.
They earned their Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University. With a strong foundation in voice, language, and identity, Bashi is committed to helping every client communicate with confidence and clarity.
Bashi joined Blue Ridge Speech and Voice in 2024 and currently provides telehealth services across multiple states. Their work is grounded in empathy, clinical excellence, and a deep respect for each client’s unique communication goals.
